Thank you for your inquiry.
If you have not tried contacting them, I suggest that be your next step in trying to locate a copy of the book. School Overview Tokyo Glass Art Institute school name Vu~erie management Company Ltd. Tokyo [Home Page] Tono-machi 1-6-21, Kawasaki-ku Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture 〒 210-0821 Address Phone number 044-277-8178 FAX number 044-277-8179 E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org The Japanese term used on their website for pate de verre is パート・ド・ヴェール. I am not sure if this may be of help to you when you contact them.
In the book on pages 174 and 175 there is a list of "Museums in Japan with Glass Collections". Perhaps if you look up the museums on the internet and contact them, one of them may have a copy of the book. I don't know how likely this is, but it is the only other recommendation I can give you at this time.
I hope one of those paths turns out to be fruitful for you. It is possible that if you are interested in borrowing a library copy you could visit your local library and have them use Inter-library Loan. We would be able to lend a microfilm copy to your library for example. If you have any further questions or any trouble opening the attachment, please let me know.
