"The size of the "Jumbo" as it is referred to in the industry is the largest sheet of float glass that can be transported by common glass carrier on US highways. Anything bigger must have special rigs on trucks to safely transport the material and oversized permits. It is also the standard stock size that is used for pricing, anything bigger is considered a custom job.
