The book, The Generations of Corning: The Life and Times of a Global Corporation by Davis Dyer and Daniel Gross provides some information about Gage in the chapter "The Pyrex Breakthrough," pp. 98-102; and a mention on p. 112.
He is discussed much more extensively in: Corning and the Craft of Innovation by Margaret B. W. Graham and Alec T Shuldiner. Both books were published by Oxford University Press in 2001. Pages 46-52 are devoted to Gage; he is also mentioned in other areas of the book.
