Our library does not have company records or patent information for Webb. However, there is published bits of information on their Alexandrite. In general, for heat sensitive (shaded) glass, it is difficult to find details such as the composition. It seemed, that at least for Stevens & Williams, that a company didn't always patent its formulas. I wish that we had the trade journal Pottery Gazette and Glass Trade Review for the years you especially need (1900-190?), but we do not, and I can find no library in this country with either paper or microfilm of the journal for that period. It wouldn't include recipes, but it is really good for ads and paragraphs on new glassware being issued by British firms.
