A "witch ball" is a basic bubble of glass, usually blown at the furnace.

I haven't found explicit instructions for creating them; however, the following books illustrate the initial steps for blowing a bubble in glass. (Please see the attached bibliography for more information)

Burke, Glassblowing: A Technical Manual.
McKelvey, James. The Art of Fire: Beginning Glassblowing.
Schmid, Edward T. Beginning Glassblowing.

  1. So I have a buddy that blows glass and he’s really talented and he just does it as a side job for fun and he makes all sorts of different things from jewelry to smoking pieces to outdoor decorations I don’t specifically know that he has ever made it which is far before but I think that he would be able to possibly make one for me my question is if I wanted to have him make me a witches ball to ward off evil spirits, should I have a protective spell also done on it? Also if the person making it Doesn’t exactly know the functionality of it oh necessarily believe that it would be affective for what I want it for is that going to matter
