I am sending a bibliography for Karen LaMonte that shows articles and exhibit catalogs published about her work.
She has her glass cast in the Czech Republic where they use kiln casting, sometimes teasingly called "chunk de verre" (referring to pate de verre with large chunks of glass). Henry Halem describes Libensky's technique:
Halem, Henry, ed. Glass notes: a reference for the glass artist. 3rd ed. Kent, OH: Franklin Mills Press, 1996.
Note: Includes information about casting methods, building molds, annealing, etc. (Sections 2, 3, and 4, pp. 15-82).
I've also attached a bibliography for kiln casting.
If you wish to obtain copies of any of these items, please contact your local library. The Rakow Research Library is a member of the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC); your library can contact us through OCLC or they may mail an Interlibrary Loan form to us. You may request up to five items at a time. We send photocopies of articles and microfiche copies of our books (if they have been microfilmed) through Interlibrary Loan for four weeks use.
Please let me know if I can provide additional information.
