I wrote a couple short articles recently that may help you with your re-creation. The articles reproduce copies of prints in the Rakow Library's collection showing the "lamps" and bellows. I'm sorry, I don't have a digital version to send to you.
Hylen, Beth. “At the Lamp.” The Flow, (Summer 2010), pp. 42-44+, ill.
Lampworking studio and equipment (tables, lamps, blowpipes, and bellows) in the 17th to 19th centuries; includes materials for further reading.
Hylen, Beth. “Explore the History of Beadmaking at the Rakow Research Library.” The Glass Bead, v. 17, issue 3 (Summer 2010), pp. 7-9, ill.
International Society of Glass Beadmakers. Overview of resources and tips for home-based beadmakers.
I am also sending a bibliography that lists some of my favorite sources. I'll be happy to send a longer bibliography, just let me know!
If you wish to obtain copies of any of the items on our list, please contact your local library. The Rakow Research Library is a member of the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC); your library can contact us through OCLC or they may mail an Interlibrary Loan form to us. You may request up to five items at a time. We send photocopies of articles and microfiche copies of our books (if they have been microfilmed) through Interlibrary Loan for four weeks use. Contact email@example.com for further information.
Please let me know if I can provide additional information.
