I have attached a few lists of books, articles, and other resources that may be of use. Most of these resources are not about Shiny Brite in particular, but might include information on the company and the ornaments. Just a quick bit of background: Max Eckardt started the Shiny Brite company around 1937. Corning Glass Works (now Corning Inc.) manufactured the blank ornaments and Shiny Brite decorated the blanks. I recently answered a question about Corning’s manufacturing process (for ornaments) – you can find my answer here: http://libanswers.cmog.org/a.php?qid=964322
There are a number of blog posts and websites devoted to Shiny Brite ornaments. Below are a few posts I found. I can’t guarantee the accuracy of their information, but from what I’ve read they give a good summary of what I know.
