Thanks for your message about Mesopotamian glass, Joanne. Attached are 2 bibliographies: Mesopotamia and Pate de Verre History. Hope they prove helpful. I reviewed two books in our collection that might be helpful: 1 by Moorey, other by Oppenheim. They both discuss glassmaking in ancient Mesopotamia.
If you are not able to locate the titles, you can request books from us through interlibrary loan. Your library can contact the Rakow Library to request any of interest. You just will be required to read them in your library.
Also attached are several articles I scanned that are not specifically about Mesopotamia, but about early pate de Verre. They will come in separate emails because of size.
You can also review the Corning Museum of Glass website for Mesopotamian glass in the collection. There are several examples. You can also search by Pate de Verre for examples--if you have not already visited the site.
