Apologies for the long delay in answering your question. We happen to have received a box of archival materials concerning Joseph Nitsche.  It has not yet been processed but I will take a look this afternoon and see if there are photos or other interesting items.  In the meantime, there are a couple of pages from the Complete Cut and Engraved Glass of Corning which may be of interest.  I've attached a scan---including a picture from a private collection of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nitsche (1900).

So neat that you are in that same house where so much impressive glass was engraved!

I checked the Nitsche archive and the most interesting part of it is the work order book, which constraints small sketches of the pieces they worked on, the price, customer, etc. There are some photos of glassware but none of the man himself.  If you'd like to view the archive, though, please contact our archivist, Mary Anne Hamblen at hamblenma@cmog.org.

Best!
