It is good to hear from you!
I have some exciting news -- many (more than 100) of our batch books have been digitized and are available to you long-distance.
Start your search for batch books with our online catalog (our cataloger used "glass recipe books" as a series):
http://rakow.cmog.org/vwebv/searchBasic and type "glass recipe books" (with the quotation marks) in the search box. You can experiment with "batch book?" "digital" and other search terms as well.
Click on the cover image to begin reading the batch book page by page.
An alternate method of searching: Search our library "collections browser" to quickly identify full-text batch books: http://www.cmog.org/research/library-search and type "recipe book?" or "batch book" into the search box; select the "full text" button on the next line to search.
Unfortunately, the link between our collection browser and the online catalog is not working consistently. Once you identify items of interest, type key words in the online catalog to find the link to the full-text digital copy: http://rakow.comog.org
The results vary from one method of searching to the other. It's worth experimenting.
[You can access both types of searching from this screen: http://www.cmog.org/research/library/catalogs ]
Please let me know if my instructions are not clear.
With best wishes,
