- 2 cups cooked beef
- 1 cup carrot
- 1 green pepper
- 8 small onions
- A stalk celery
- 1 cup canned tomatoes
- 1 cup string beans
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup stock or 1 cup water in which a bouillon cube has been dissolved
- 1 1/2 cups potato balls
- 2 tablespoons fat
Place all the ingredients except the potato balls, fat and flour in a greased Pyrex casserole. Bake in a moderate oven (375 F.) until the carrots, onion and string beans are tender, then add the potato balls and the fat and flour which have been mixed together. Cover and bake for 30 minutes longer.
