Attached are two bibliographies, one on Tiffany techniques, and one on Tiffany in general. Our library participates in interlibrary loan, and can provide copies of articles and the loan of books (or microfiche of books).
We do have additional information on formulas used at the Tiffany studios, but it is archival material, and must be consulted only at our library, on microfilm, and one can only take notes (not make paper copies from the microfilm) This information is in the Leslie H. Nash Archives, in a notebook of glass formulae and notes (dated 1893-1906) by Arthur J. Nash, glass formulae in a journal recorded by A.J. Nash and L. H. Nash
The Corning Museum of Glass is currently closed to the public effective March 16 through April 22, 2020, as a precautionary measure for public health and safety. As a result, resources available to answer your questions are extremely limited. During this closure, you may be interested in searching our Ask a Glass Question FAQs or reviewing our Research Guides on various topics. We also highly recommend checking out The Corning Museum of Glass on YouTube for hours of artist demonstrations, lectures, and special events. Thank you for your patience.
