I've listed some resources to explore.

You may wish to contact Eddie Bernard for help with your research: Eddie Bernard is the owner of Wet Dog Glass, Glass Artist founder of NOCGI, the New Orleans Creative Glass Institute. He builds efficient glass furnaces and is a technical engineer for glass melting. FYI - He is on the board of the Glass Art Society (GAS) and is in Corning for a meeting this week.

The BioGlass website provides contact information for "the eco-efficient glass communities world wide."
Recent "green" projects:

EnergyXchange Renewable Energy Center
(This project is widely discussed on the web. A "Google" search brings up lots of sites.)

Pittsburgh Glass Center
5472 Penn Ave
Pittsburgh, PA 15206
(412) 365-2145
Studio Technician Manager, Beagles (Brent Craig), ext. 204
Director of Studios and Technology, Chris Clarke, ext. 205

I've attached a bibliography that lists selected publications available in our library.
